Wissahickon Bridge

Last weekend I took a trip over to the Wissahickon trails in Fairmount Park.  It was gorgeous out and I wanted to do a little hiking.  I also wanted to take some new photos underneath the Wissahickon Bridge.  This is an amazing structure that I’ve long admired, as I went to college at Philadelphia University which has part of it’s campus adjacent to the bridge.  My first two years of school I lived in Scholler Hall, which was the dormitory closest to the bridge.  We would often go hang out there and it had been a while since I had been there.  It’s quite a breathtaking place.  One of the main Wissahickon trails run directly under the bridge, so it’s easy to access, and from there you can venture all the way down below to Lincoln Drive.  Just watch your step.
